NYC to Montreal Round Trip on Amtrak: $75 Until March 31st!

Here’s an Amtrak special that’s not to be missed: NYC to Montreal for $75 Round Trip.  It’s a winter special that runs through the end of March 2008. 

Travel is on the Adirondack Line, running through the scenic Hudson Valley.  It’s really quite a beautiful trip.  The downside is you’ll have to transfer in Albany, and if memory serves, the trip takes about 8 hours to complete.  If you have some time to kill, though, this is the way to go.  You can enjoy the scenery and a good book on the way up and save 50-80 percent off of what you’d pay in airfare.
