New Year’s Eve in New York and Beyond

Yahoo! Travel just released its Top 10 New Year’s Eve travel destinations, and New York has been edged out of the number 1 spot by Las Vegas.

Other spots making the list include Cancun, Miami, and Honolulu.  Inexplicably, Boston comes in third.  Snow and smug Patriots fans?  We’ll look elsewhere.

For those looking to flee New York tonight, particularly anyone unfortunate enough to live in Midtown, there’s still time to snag a last minute air package — try Travelocity — head to JFK, LGA or EWR, and escape the city.
